Wat een fantastisch einde van een fantastisch verhaal! Dit einde was wat ik van de schrijfster verwachtte: fenomenaal! De eerste woorden van hoofdstuk 1 starten het vertrek van de achtbaan en daar komen we niet eerder uit als dat de laatste woorden van het laatste hoofdstuk geschreven zijn. Ze weet het verhaal boeiend en spannend te houden tot het einde, het is sexy, intens en romantisch en de humor is geweldig. Daemon blijft de arrogante, verwaande en eigenwijze persoonlijkheid die hij vanaf onze eerste ontmoeting in Obsidian was, maar hij heeft er een romantische, lieve kant bij gekregen in Origin en die heeft hij ook in Opposition gehouden. Ik heb regelmatig gedacht ‘ik wil een Daemon’, want als ik al niet stiekem een beetje verliefd op hem was dan ben ik het in dit boek zeker geworden. Katy is een bad-ass. Ik heb al een aantal boeken van Alla Kar gelezen en alleen van Wrecked een review geschreven, maar ik vond het stuk voor stuk leuke boeken die vroegen om meer. Een minpunt van haar boeken vind ik de schrijffouten die erin zitten. Het heeft mijn mening erover nooit beïnvloed maar ik vind/vond het altijd wel jammer. Tot nu toe is dit wat dat aan gaat nog het beste boek van allemaal. Hij was niet helemaal fouten vrij maar kwam al een heel eind in de richting. Eén deel van het plot was redelijk origineel, het andere totaal niet, maar samen maakten ze een boeiend verhaal dat soms ook erg humoristisch was. De clou van het verhaal, de reden van de break up tussen Lachlan en Laney, was er één die ik na een tijdje begon te vermoeden en het doet me altijd plezier als dat vermoeden ook idd uit komt. Wat ik niet plezierig vond was het eind. Dat was echt een anti climax en een beetje teveel van het goede. Dat het 1x gebeurt oké maar 2x?? Beetje te ver gezocht.
