Under A.J.’s reign, Britain’s artistic liberty is gone, and the issue becomes less of a clever erotic read and more of a Halloween-themed smutfest. Much like Evan’s modeling, Britain’s photos grow sloppy and uninspired.

But a reminder of the pleasures of sex and art is around the corner for both girls. Someone is leaving a trail of seductive clues for Britain on the set of the cover shoot--a historic manor.

And Dallas makes his return to steal Evan’s heart for good.

Exposure vond ik leuker dan dit vervolg.
Dat komt in de eerste instantie omdat ik de pov van Dallas miste, we kregen nu de pov's van Evan en Blaire.
Eerlijk gezegd vond ik in het begin de pov van Blaire niet zo erg leuk, maar dat veranderde al snel, vooral toen Jaime in het verhaal kwam.
En als tweede voelde het verhaal oppervlakkiger aan en de erotische spanning was minder groot dan in zijn voorganger.
Toch was dit een leuk, maar wederom kort, boek en ik ben zeker van plan het volgende deel te lezen dat verder gaat met het verhaal van Blaire en Jaime.
Die komt uit in Februari 2014 en gaat Aberration heten.

Abbi Glines - Because of Lila

Kan het zijn dat je te veel van je favoriete schrijfster hebt gelezen en haar boeken daardoor op de één of andere manier minder leuk gaat vinden? Het overkomt me nl steeds vaker met Abbi Glines. En daar baal ik van want het genieten van een Abbi Glines was een zekerheid waarop ik altijd terug kon vallen. Slechte plot twist Misschien had ze niet terug moeten vallen op haar Sea Breeze en Rosemary Beach series en gewoon aan iets heel nieuws moeten beginnen? Ik was helemaal in de wolken toen ik hoorde van haar nieuwe serie. Blij dat ik weer terug kon keren en de kinderen van de personages uit de voorgaande boeken kon leren kennen, maar tot nu toe vallen de verhalen me nog niet mee. Ik vond deze zelfs nog minder leuk dan zijn voorganger  . Eén van de dingen waarvan ik zeker weet dat ik er moe wordt is de (ongewenste) zwangerschap.
