Coming Home Texas is een goed opgebouwde gay romance.
Het had een leuke, geloofwaardige verhaallijn en het enige waar ik wat moeite mee had was de reden waarom Brandon 11 jaar geleden zonder uitleg is vertrokken uit zijn woonplaats en de man waar hij van hield achter liet.

Het verhaal focust zich op de opnieuw groeiende relatie tussen Brandon en Joe, hun frustraties rondom de breuk maar ook op het ranch leven, de setting waar dit verhaal zich afspeelt.
Sexy Sunday is een zondagse rubriek waarin ik hedendaagse sexy en erotische New Adult / Adult novels in het zonnetje zet.
Het zijn boeken waarvan ik geen uitgebreide review wil schrijven maar waarvan ik vind dat ze wel een plaatsje op de blog verdienen. Voor deze boeken geen sterren waardering maar vlammetjes die aangeven hoe HOT het boek is.

Abbi Glines - Because of Lila

Kan het zijn dat je te veel van je favoriete schrijfster hebt gelezen en haar boeken daardoor op de één of andere manier minder leuk gaat vinden? Het overkomt me nl steeds vaker met Abbi Glines. En daar baal ik van want het genieten van een Abbi Glines was een zekerheid waarop ik altijd terug kon vallen. Slechte plot twist Misschien had ze niet terug moeten vallen op haar Sea Breeze en Rosemary Beach series en gewoon aan iets heel nieuws moeten beginnen? Ik was helemaal in de wolken toen ik hoorde van haar nieuwe serie. Blij dat ik weer terug kon keren en de kinderen van de personages uit de voorgaande boeken kon leren kennen, maar tot nu toe vallen de verhalen me nog niet mee. Ik vond deze zelfs nog minder leuk dan zijn voorganger  . Eén van de dingen waarvan ik zeker weet dat ik er moe wordt is de (ongewenste) zwangerschap.
